Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1, May 5 | Depart Canada for Zagreb

Day 2, May 6 | Arrive Zagreb
Upon arrival in Zagreb, we will be met and transferred to our hotel. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 3, May 7 | Zagreb
After breakfast at the hotel, we will join our local guide for a private walking tour of Zagreb. The tour starts from Zagreb's main square--Ben Jelacic--and continues with visits to two historic settlements--Kaptol and Gradec, from which Zagreb developed. In Kaptol you will not only learn about the biggest Cathedral in Croatia, but you will also get a chance to discover a picturesque farmer's market. Within the old walled hill city of Gradec, you will get a chance to see the Parliament and Government buildings, as well as St. Mark's Church, the baroque church of St. Catharine's, and 16th-century Lotrscak Tower. To get to the final point of the tour, there's an option to use Zagreb’s Funicular, originally built in 1890, also known as the shortest funicular in Europe. Lunch is on our own today--a great opportunity to taste the local specialties at the restaurants and walk along the streets and squares of this vibrant town on our own. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 4, May 8 | Zagreb-Plitvice-Split
After breakfast at the hotel, we will check out of the hotel and transfer by private vehicle to Plitvice Lakes Natural Park, Croatia's natural masterpiece and UNESCO World Heritage Site. We are scheduled to depart the hotel for 8 am. Plitvice Lakes are a unique natural phenomenon which consists of 16 picturesque lakes connected by several cascading waterfalls. The lakes are renowned for their distinctive colors, ranging from azure to green, grey or blue, depending on the minerals and organisms in the water and the angle of the sunlight. After walking through the park with your local guide you will have some leisure time.
After the tour, we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant--Lucka Kuca, famous for its lamb and baked potatoes, amongst other local specialties. After lunch, we travel to Split. Overnight Split. Dinner is on our own tonight.

Day 5, May 9 | Split
After breakfast at the hotel, we start our morning at 9:30 am in the heart and soul of the city. Today we explore Split's colorful green market, and learn more about the local culture and traditions. The core of the old town is the famous Diocletian's Palace, constructed by Roman Emperor Diocletian, 1700 years ago. After the tour, we will drive to Trogir, which is a short 30 minute drive north. Perched on a small islet connected by a bridge to the mainland, Torgir was founded in the 3rd century BC.. by the Greeks. After a walking tour of Torgir, we will have some free to explore the streets of this quaint town and enjoy lunch on our own. We will return to Split around 4 pm today.Dinner is on our own

Day 6, May 10 | Hvar
After breakfast at the hotel, we will have some leisure time at the hotel until we get picked up around 11 am. We will then transfer to the ferry port and board a catamaran ferry to Hvar (approx. 1 hour). Upon arrival, we will walk to our nearby hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free to enjoy on your own--enjoy the natural pebble beach. The hotel is centrally located so a perfect opportunity to explore and have dinner on our own. Overnight in Hvar.

Day 7, May 11 | Hvar--Island hopping and beach day!
Today we will enjoy a relaxing boat tour. After starting from Hvar Town at 10:30 am, we will board our boat and head to Vis Island making our first stop at Budikovac Blue Lagoon. The turquoise waters of this islet make it a perfect place for swimming and snorkeling. Afterwards, we head towards Green Cave on Ravnik Island, known for its natural green lighting. Another beach we visit is the incredible Stiniva Cove, hidden behind the huge cliffs that encircle the bay. The mesmerizing Blue Cave is located on Bisevo Island. On arrival at Bisevo Island, we will take a small shuttle boat to experience the cave and its photogenic conditions. We will return to Hvar around 6-7 pm. Dinner is on our own tonight.

Day 8, May 12 | Hvar - Dubrovnik
After breakfast at the hotel, we will walk to the ferry port and board a catamaran ferry to Dubrovnik (approx. 4 hours). On arrival, we are met and transferred to our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to shop and explore--tomorrow is a big day exploring the Konavle Valley. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 9, May 13 | Dubrovnik
After breakfast at the hotel, we will have a chance to experience the untouched nature of the rural region around Dubrovnik, the Konavle Valley. The region is surrounded by majestic mountains and dotted with picturesque rivers, vineyards, and crops, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers and foodies alike. Our first stop today is in the charming coastal town of Cavtat. As we explore the town's picturesque streets and stunning seafront promenade, we'll delve into the rich history of Konavle and discover its ancient roots. We'll learn about the town's founding as the ancient Greek colony of Epidaurum and how it played a crucial role in the development of Dubrovnik as a major economic and cultural center.
Our second stop will take us to a local winery where we will have the opportunity to do a wine tasting sampling some of the finest wines produced in the region. To complement the wine, we'll also enjoy a plate of smoked ham, cheese, and local fresh vegetables sourced from the local farms. We will have the chance to taste the authentic flavors of Konavle while enjoying the stunning views of the surrounding vineyards.
Our third stop is the Franciscan monastery in Pridvorje and have an opportunity to visit the archeological museum which houses a unique collection of artifacts and exhibits.
Our last stop is at the renowned restaurant Konavoski Dvori in Konavle where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. The restaurant's menu features a wide range of traditional dishes made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and you will be able to try some of the area's most famous specialties. Return to Dubrovnik approx. 5 pm. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 10, May 14 | Dubrovnik
After breakfast at the hotel, we will be picked up and transferred to Dubrovnik's Old Town where we will enjoy a 2-hour walking tour with a local guide. From its most hidden corners to its sumptuous palaces, you will see the locations that have stood the test of time since its creation during the glorious Republic of Ragusa. The city is both a museum and a stage where cultural heritage and contemporary life meet. After the tour, you will have free time to enjoy lunch on your own until we meet the driver to transfer back to the hotel.
Tonight we will enjoy a farewell 3-course dinner at Konova Dubrava (select drinks included). Time: 7:00 pm. Transfers to/from the hotel will be provided. Overnight in Dubrovnik

Transfer to the airport will be available.
